I want to read the statements below and I'd like you to indicate which of these most accurately reflects your own feelings about drinking:A. I believe that people should not drive after they drink. There is no excuse for drinking when you know you have to drive. No matter how little you drink, you may still be impaired if you drive.
B. I am concerned about safety and try to be as safe as possible when driving after drinking. I worry about my safety, the safety of others on the road and the safety of the people in my vehicle. I won't go so far as to abstain from drinking altogether, but I am very careful to limit my drinking when I know I will be driving.
C. I have had enough experience with drinking to know when I am OK to drive and when I am not. I know that if I drive carefully and slowly, I'll do OK. However, I am pretty concerned about being pulled over.
For those of you who generally are passengers:
D. I generally don't drive and let someone else - friends, dates, etc.. - do the driving . Sometimes I am uneasy or outright scared regarding their condition, but I don't do anything about it.
E. I generally don't drive unless my date or friend seems too drunk. If they are looking or acting drunk or impaired, I will take over and drive home myself providing I've not been drinking too.
